UNECE Code of Good Practice: Reducing food loss and ensuring optimum handling of nuts and dried fruits along the value chain

The INC is leading a UNECE working group in charge of developing a Code of Good Practice on reducing food loss and ensuring optimum handling of nuts and dried fruits throughout the value chain. This Code of Good Practice will support Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12 “Ensure Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns”, specifically target 12.3 on reducing food loss and waste: “By 2030, halve per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer level and reduce food losses along production and supply chains, including post-harvest losses
